This is our quick and easy to use printing system for printing praise postcards and detention letters

Quick and easy to use

This system has been designed, developed and tested by teachers and admin staff to be quick and easy to use. Simply log in, select a system, check through the postcards / detentions, print the page and click a button to set the postcards / detentions to 'sent'

Printing the detentions

Simply put headed paper into the printer and print the page. Each detention letter prints on a seperate page. Fold the letters, place in envelopes and put in the post.

Printing postcards

Pre print the front of the postcards, put the correct number of each postcard in the printer (read the ordered list of postcards required) and press print.

System requirements

You will need to set-up a computer to print the postcards / letters from. A software package will be provided to install on this computer. This computer should have the following:-

• Windows XP professional (or similar OS with IIS)
• Internet information services (IIS) set-up. This is included with XP Professional and higher. Talk to your network manager.
• Alternatives include computers with a local server installed, e.g. Apache.
• A black and white laser printer.
• Internet access
• You will need postcards / letterheads to print onto. We can advise on different solutions, feel free to contact us.

This computer will hold all the personal details on your students e.g. addresses etc. This ensures the data is never transferred outside your school or college.
